Leasing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Leasing Specialist to join our centralized leasing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, answering inbound rental inquiries over the phone, providing information about our properties, and pre-qualifying leads before transferring them to our on-site management team.

Property management experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and chat in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Provide accurate information about rental properties, amenities, and pricing using our digital leasing binder
  • Conduct initial pre-qualification by asking basic questions about income, rental history, and credit
  • Enter all prospect contact information and pre-qualification details into our CRM system
  • Follow up proactively with prospects to answer questions and gather necessary information
  • Identify and document warm leads for prompt transfer to the on-site management team
  • Coordinate with on-site teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads
  • Meet and exceed targets for number of qualified leads generated

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic and friendly demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of inbound inquiries
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (experience with Hubspot preferred)
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Flexible availability 7 days/week between the hours of 7am-10pm Pacific Time
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing practices (preferred)

Schedule: This is a full-time contractor position requiring approximately 30-40 hours per week. Core hours are 9am-5pm Pacific Time, 7 days a week. Flexibility to handle inquiries as early as 7am and as late as 10pm is required as needed.
