Rheumatology Opening - Mason City, Iowa J1/H1b eligible Commencement bonus up to 250K Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Very busy, instant practice- Monday-Friday 8a-5p, very minimal call- Outpatient; average 16-20 patients per day- Level 3 trauma- Annual ER volume: 30K- 1 ARNP and 1 physician in practice- 1:1 clinical support- Patient Age Demographic: 18+- Join the team of 1 experienced DNP- Outpatient only General Rheumatology opportunity- Very busy instant practice - Non-burdensome call- Teaching opportunity for Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residents, ARNP/PA students, and medical students- Health Group promotes excellent work life balance supporting quality family time with 5-6 call days per month, one holiday per year, at home call available, and post call day off. - Physician support before, during, and after each procedure- All surgical procedures available, except transplants; limited pediatrics; support OB, Cath Lab, and ED.- Opportunity to teach CRNA students- Rheumatology clinic is located at a 342-bed regional referral teaching hospital- named a Top 100 Hospital nationally- easy access to all specialists, lab, radiology, pharmacy, and many other services 300+ employed providers - Including primary care, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, General Surgery, Ortho Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastics, Bariatric Surgery, OBGYN, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Neurology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Infectious Disease, Palliative Care, Urology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Psychiatry, and so much more- Regional health system covering 15 counties, includes Medical Center, 8 critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota- Rheumatology team provides services for our entire network - approximately 260,000 people that call the Medical Group Iowa their trusted healthcare partner- Level III Trauma Center offering post-graduate education programs on site, including Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs, Cardiology Fellowship, and Palliative Care Fellowship Compensation and Benefits: - Base salary 280K - Varies based on experience and training- Commencement bonus up to $250,000 (5 years of commitment required for full $250K)- Loan repayment up to $30,000/year- 34 days off annually- Premium paid health insurance- Short- term and long-term disability- Professional liability- 4K for CME- 34 days of time off, annually- Employer sponsored professional liability insurance & tail insurance coverage- Health, dental, vision and life insurance- Short-term and long-term disability coverage- 403(b) retirement program with employer contribution and employer matching; Optional 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan- Cost of Living for area is 24% lower than national average About the Group - 346 Bed- Conducts a Family Medicine Residency, Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship, PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and a School of Radiologic Technology. - Clinical training site for approximately 500 students from 127 different colleges enrolled in programs for medical laboratory, nursing, paramedic, rehabilitation, medical assistants, pastoral services, physicians and many other medical fields.
