Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer, PE - Mission Critical

Location: Denver, CO

Salary: $110k - $160k+ (DOE)

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary technical lead for mechanical engineering and design projects, focusing on data centers, airports, aerospace facilities, and other industrial/commercial ventures
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including equipment selection, central plant systems, plumbing, sprinkler fire protection systems, and fire suppression systems such as AFFF and dry chemical
  • Apply expertise in local and national building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards, including International Building Codes and relevant mechanical, plumbing, fire, and fuel gas codes
  • Provide mentoring and training to junior mechanical staff, fostering their professional development
  • Delegate design tasks efficiently to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD personnel while maintaining project timelines and quality standards
  • Offer leadership by serving as a valuable technical and procedural resource for projects and teams
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in HVAC and fire protection design, particularly on mission critical projects
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Clean background check (BGC) and drug test
