  • Evaluate and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility setting
  • Participate in the development and review of treatment plans
  • Utilize professional skills to assess and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders
  • Administer diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments
  • Communicate patient progress to supervisor and healthcare team
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Complete required documentation and reports
  • Participate in care coordination activities
  • Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality
  • Participate in staff development and continuing education

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology
  • Minimum six months of speech therapist/pathologist experience
  • Home Health experience preferred
  • Current and unrestricted license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
