Assistant Sales Executive

Our Assistant Sales Executive (100% in-office)plays a crucial role in supporting our Sr. Sales Executives, assisting in the identification of potential clients, development of business relationships, and selling of Print, Direct Mail, Large Format, and E-Commerce products as well as Branded Merchandise to customers in various industries. You'll also collaborate with internal departments to ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm to build upon your existing knowledge about sales, the marketing solutions industry, and the market for print and promotional products, services, and solutions specifically.

Functions and Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Assist Sr. Sales Executives in prospecting and identifying potential clients.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and networking functions to promote the company's products and services.
  • Sales Support:
  • Assist in preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Assist in negotiating sales contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet both customer needs and company revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Sales Executive on tracking open jobs, AR, and YoY activity reports to ensure problems are solved in a timely manner and opportunities are activated.

Client Interaction:

  • Participate in initial client meetings and follow-up calls to learn about client requirements, gather information, and present solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in nurturing client relationships and maintaining regular communication to build rapport and trust.

Order Management and Tracking:

  • Accurate and consistent utilization of Wrike forms for customer/estimation activation.
  • Utilize CRM, Project Management and ERP software/platforms to ensure accurate order entry, manage orders/projects, analyze opportunities, and track sales effectiveness.
  • Monitor production and design teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Sales: Sell print and branded merchandise products, services, and solutions, achieving KPIs and targets set by Sr. Sales Executive.

  • Proficient in CRM software (Hubspot) and sales reporting tools.

If not currently proficient, comfort with technology and ability to quickly become proficient in CRM software and sales reporting tools.

  • Proficient in ERP software and Project Management software used to input and track sales orders, and Excel.

If not currently proficient, comfort with technology and ability to quickly become proficient in organizational software used to input and track sales orders.

Experience

  • Preferred Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
  • Preferred Industry Experience: Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
