Genesis10 is currently seeking a Python Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Requirements:
  • 10+ Years of dev experience in relevant fields
  • Extensive experience in high performance analytical development in python in portfolio Risk.
  • Fair understanding of capital market assets from analytical and reference data perspectives - e.g. Equity Options, Corporate Bonds, Interest Rate/Bond Futures, Currency Options
  • Basic risk of financial products listed above with an understanding of how instrument level risk from these products is used in portfolio risk applications
  • ble to work in mid-sized teams and good communication skills
Desired skills:
  • Quartz
  • Familiarity python math libraries - such as NumPy, SciPy, etc.
  • Experience with multi-threaded/multi-processing/multi-tasking application development in python
