Die Cutting Operator

QUADRIGA USA is a Roll Label Printing Company located in Valencia, CA, and It seeks Roll Label Die Cut Converter/Finisher Operators, to produce a quality product in accordance to company and customer specifications. Essential Responsibilities: -Set-up print jobs in accordance with job ticket and product specification documents. -Perform operations which include: die-cutting, coating, laminating, cold foil stamping. -Equipment maintenance, maintains and troubleshoots the equipment. Responsible for preventive maintenance program; contacting with service personnel as needed and completing work orders for equipment repairs. -Complies with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable including work instructions. -Interact and behaves professionally. Treats all associates respectfully and professionally while maintaining company code of ethics. -Responsible for maintaining daily housekeeping efforts which may include cleaning and organizing the immediate work place and or station. Adheres to all safety and housekeeping standards. -Work overtime as needed. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE PRINTING INDUSTRY. Education and experience: -High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent experience and training; VERIFIABLE experience operating a converter for minimum of 1 year. Language Skills: -Ability to read, analyze and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence to perform job duties. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate with other associates, and vendors effectively. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, push, pull, use hands or finger, handle, or feel and talk and hear. Also lift and/or move up to 80 pounds (occasionally) and up to 50 pound (regularly). Employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, stand, kneel, crouch, squat or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, and funs, chemical substances and airborne particles and varying temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud to loud. Opportunity to grow within the company.
