Join one of the world's most renowned global banks and trusted brand with over 200 years of continuously evolving financial services worldwide. Will be developing new application features including 80% testing coverage for every new code is in place, planning releases, assisting other team members to define technical solutions and troubleshooting issues, deploying changes on Linux servers and ECS/Cloud containers, perform code reviews. Wil work in a dynamic team environment which includes team members working with different technologies such as Java, angular, shell scripts across multiple regions, and be able to integrate their application components with other team members. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of core Java experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with Spring Boot, Java messaging EMS and REST services.
  • 3+ years of experience UI development with Angular (from 5 up) and Bootstrap.
  • 3+ years of experience ECS Container.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Hibernate framework.
  • Basic Unix/Linux commands.
  • Mongo and Oracle Database - general CRUD activity.
  • Strong experience of Software Development Lifecycle process.
  • Experience with developing all areas of Java-based programming.
  • Experience delivering projects as part of a cross-location team.
  • Hands-on and ability to perform technical specifications.
  • Worked on unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, and Cucumber.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Work with the BAs to understand requirements and team architect to drive technical solutions.
  • Develop web-based front-end application and back-end components using approved technologies as per business requirements.
  • Ensure unit testing is created and executed on every component and functionality changed.
  • Monitor process flows and review alert messaging to proactively remediate potential issues.
  • Continuously document all environmental procedures.
  • Investigate level 3 issues and influence change with development teams to improve system stability and business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with other functional teams to investigate and remediate data quality issues.
  • Improve personal and team productivity through innovations and use of available tools.
  • Comply with mandated policies and procedures and contribute in procedural improvements.
  • Accurately estimate effort for assigned tasks to the team and consistently meet commitments.
