Position Highlights:

Independent, multi-disciplinary practice with a strong affiliation with local tertiary care hospitals that provides a full range of Endocrinology medicine

In collaboration with physician, direct and manage a complete continuum of quality-based care within the interdisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
-
In collaboration with physician, responsible office consults, follow up appointments and outpatient procedures
-
Comfortable treating all aspects in Endocrinology and Metabolic disorders including Diabetes, thyroid and adrenal diseases, osteoporosis, hormonal imbalances
-
Consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients

Consult with patient’s primary care physician and other specialists as needed

Required Qualifications:

Unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York.

Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program, master’s level preferred.

National Board Certification
-
Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.

Training and experience: Minimum one year of experience in Endocrinology.
New York Residents Onl y : The salary range for this role is $109,513 to $160,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
