Phlebotomist II

Job Title: Phlebotomist Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for patient care, we encourage you to apply Responsibilities: -Collect blood samples from patients using proper venipuncture technique -Label and process blood samples for laboratory testing -Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines -Provide excellent patient care and customer service -Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure smooth operations -Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: -High school diploma or equivalent required -Phlebotomy certification (CPT or PBT) preferred -1-2 years of experience in phlebotomy -Strong communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) -Comfortable working with patients of all ages Working Conditions: -Work in a healthcare setting (hospital, clinic, or laboratory) -Frequent standing, walking, and lifting -Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends -This is a FLOAT position so travel will be required -30-40 draws a day What We Offer: -Competitive hourly rate -Opportunities for professional growth and development -Comprehensive benefits package A supportive and dynamic work environment -The opportunity to make a difference in patient care Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm How to Apply: Please submit your application We look forward to hearing from you :) About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
