Nuvance Health is a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center, and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York - plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practice locations including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through our affiliates including the Thompson House, for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.

Summary:
Compilation and production of financial information in support of the Information Technology division and organizational goals. Key resource in the development and maintenance of the operating, capital, and project budgets and associated reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and distribution of daily, monthly, and annual financial information inclusive of variance analysis, statistical, and FTE reporting
  • Development of projections, reports, and presentations
  • Participation in the annual budget process, development of operating revenue, and expense models
  • Facilitate capital budgeting process in coordination with IT leadership and project portfolios
  • Reconcile and ensure accurate recording of account transactions by comparing and correcting data while monitoring vendor and project invoicing
  • Train and educate department managers to assist their understanding of the financial data provided and how to use the information to make informed business decisions
  • Assist IT leadership in tracking project expenses, analyzing spend rates, and planning for financial milestones
  • Respond timely and accurately to numerous ad hoc report requests
  • Fulfill all compliance responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 support through investigation and analysis of problems using documentation, manuals, debugging tools & logic to resolve problems, prevent recurrence, & ensure continuity. Handles remote calls for off-shift, weekends, & holidays as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-2 yr. experience: Financial Analysis, Budget or Cost Accounting-related in healthcare
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Visio experience, preferred
  • Preference for applicants with experience in IT and/or hospital budgeting
Location: The Summit-100 Reserve Rd., Danbury, CT

Work Type: Full-Time/40 Hr.

Work Shift: M-F, 9AM -5PM

Salary Range:

$27.91 - $51.83 Hourly Pay Rate
