DESCRIPTION

The Technology Organization’s Customer Engagement portfolio is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst. The QA Analyst is responsible for creating and assisting in the development and execution of manual, automated, and exploratory tests for customer facing websites and middleware applications, using proven testing methodologies. This role will also focus on manual testing & testing automation as a SME for Tricentis Tosca (both AS1 & AS2 certifications are required for this role). The candidate will actively participate in multiple projects and work closely with development teams in an agile environment. The candidate will be required to review functional requirements to assess the impact on the software applications, formulate test cases, and will assist the agile teams with backlog grooming and capturing acceptance criteria. The QA Analyst tasks include logging, tracking, troubleshooting and escalation of issues identified during testing cycles. Additional responsibilities include maintaining testing evidence for each test as proof of validation, evaluate testing effectiveness, and provide improvement feedback for testing processes.

This is a HYBRID position: Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the designated office in Atlanta or Birmingham and be willing to be present at the office as requested and/or on a regular basis.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

BS/BA preferred, with preference given to Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or other technology related field.

Experience

2+ years experience testing web applications & APIs

2+ years experience with testing automation

Structured Software Testing Experience

Experience with automated regression testing, performance testing, and an application quality management solution

Experience writing database queries

Experience with performance testing automation tools such as Neoload, preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes

Candidate must possess current Tricentis Tosca Fundamentals − Automating web application testing (AS1 - Formerly called Automation Specialist Level 1) & Tricentis Tosca Fundamentals − Optimizing test automation with centralized test data (AS2 – Formerly called Automation Specialist Level 2) certifications.
