Job Title: Lead Data Engineer
Type: Contract (1-year, with likely extensions)
Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid, local candidates only)
Requirements:
  • 5 years in Data Engineering
  • Strong API development and database skills
  • Proficiency in PySpark, Glue, and Oracle
  • Object-oriented programming experience
  • Experience developing database applications on AWS
  • Knowledge of SDLC and cloud-based systems
  • Unit testing experience
Role Overview:
  • Developing database applications on AWS and some on Azure
  • Drive new development in process and digital transformation
  • Heavy involvement with externally facing applications
  • Requires a self-motivated, communicative professional able to work independently
  • Strong documentation skills and detail-oriented
