Your Role
The Clinical Program Supervisor will take charge of overseeing and managing clinical services and staff dedicated to client treatment services. You will play a crucial role in leading various aspects of clinical delivery, including budgeting, marketing, recruitment, and supervision.
- Communicate clearly with clients, staff, and partners to address inquiries and resolve concerns.
- Assign caseloads and help identify hiring needs.
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions for staff to enhance their skills continually.
- Support staff development in partnership with the Program Director.
- Perform supervisory duties as directed by the Program Director.
- Provide one-on-one clinical supervision to direct care staff while maintaining documentation.
- Facilitate day-to-day clinical operations, including crisis management.
- Lead staff meetings to improve communication and teamwork.
- Assist in preparing the annual budget and reviewing monthly financial reports.
- Contribute to the annual strategic plan development.
- Engage in marketing initiatives aligned with regional strategies.
- Build and nurture relationships with referral sources for service delivery improvement and growth.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.
- Assist in recruiting and hiring qualified staff.
- Oversee clinical documentation processes and ensure timely completion.
- Manage client authorization requirements effectively.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures diligently.
- Deliver direct services to families, as necessary.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities and audits.
- For those overseeing Family Centered Treatment (FCT) or Fostering Solutions (FS) services:
- Obtain certification in the relevant evidence-based practices within the first year of employment.
- Complete required training on schedule.
- Lead the regional training schedule and conduct team meetings.
- Coordinate the training and orientation of new service providers according to guidelines.
- Manage training related to the Wheels of Change course implementation.
- Guide the clinical model implementation and provide feedback on performance.
- Support staff in achieving service delivery requirements as directed.
- Work closely with programs' leadership to foster effective communication and resolution.
- Complete necessary training to meet compliance standards.
- Conduct weekly reviews of client documentation, ensuring quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Mandatory:
- Master's degree in a human services discipline such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc.
- Minimum two years of experience working with children, including internships or volunteer work.
- NC and VA: Must register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- MS: Provisional certification as a Community Support Specialist required.
- AL: Clinical practicum completion necessary.
- Experience in supervising staff is advantageous.
- Certifications in Family Centered Treatment or Fostering Solutions are a plus.
- Holding or on the pathway to obtain professional licensure is preferred.
