Located in Clifton, NJ

Pay: $20-$30 an hour

Shift: 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am Monday-Friday

(Will need to train on 1st shift)

Description:

Seeking a diligent Coater Operator to effectively operate coater and laminator machinery in order to produce high-quality trial sample orders in coordination with the manager. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and samples produced, utilizing the correct raw materials as per specification, and following all safety procedures. Your role also includes maintenance of the coater equipment, material testing, adhesive preparation, coordination with other departments, processing paperwork and material transactions, and maintaining a clean work environment.

• Effectively operate coater and laminator in a safe manor to produce quality trial sample orders in coordination with manager.

• Responsible for the quality of products and samples produced on the coater.

• Utilization of the correct raw materials called for on the specification form.

• Following all safety procedures including grounding of equipment.

• Report all equipment or material problems to the Coater Manager.

• Maintenance of the coater equipment and accessories in working condition.

• Material testing, adhesive preparation (mixing),coordinating raw materials with

• other departments, processing paper work and material transactions.

• Cleaning Equipment and surrounding area and Maintaining a clean work environment.

• Selection of proper raw materials. Rejection of unacceptable converted products.

• Coordination with the test lab to complete tests on outgoing products

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

• Formal technical training at a secondary school, a technical school, or a community college - Willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required to meet plant production goals

• Able to lift, pull and push 50 pounds, walk, and stand for long periods of time, and work from a ladder

• Perform work in a safe manner following all company safety policies and procedures

• Prompt and regular attendance required
