**This position is CONTINGENT upon contract award**

Nightwing is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to lead and execute comprehensive testing activities for software applications and systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, ensuring high-quality deliverables and driving continuous improvement in testing processes. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects while mentoring junior QA staff to elevate team capabilities.

Required Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and software testing life cycles (STLC).
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Proficiency in writing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development processes and the role of QA within Agile frameworks.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues and articulate solutions clearly.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills to collaborate effectively with development and product teams.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing within DevOps workflows.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for scripting and test automation.
  • Experience with mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity testing practices and tools
Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing, or
Master's Degree in a related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or
Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and hands-on experience.
