Member Consultants are the heart and soul of WSECU. Our Mobile Member Consultants travel between our branches fulfilling the needs of the team for the day. Every day, no matter where you're working, you'll dig deep to listen to what our members need and you go out of your way to make their banking not only easy, but downright pleasant As a Mobile Member Consultant, you are the go-to, one-stop shop for our members. You will accomplish this by being knowledgeable, empathetic and eager to help WSECU is a Co-Op with an all-volunteer board-we are truly accountable to our members, but we could not do it without you. Your day might include: Performing all branch and consumer lending, opening new accounts, and providing teller services Traveling to various branches throughout the northern region with the occasional possibility of statewide travel with short notice Occasional support to other departments and lines of business as needed Striving for and hitting your sales and service goals, while keeping the member's best interest front and center Contributing to your teams successes and celebrating along the way Building and nurturing strong relationships with your members Understanding your members' journey, offering products and services to meet their unique needs Contributing to team success in a variety of work environments Showing empathy and lending a hand where your team members and teammates need it most. Championing members with all banking needs. Having fun What you bring to the team: Flexibility and Ability to travel statewide on short notice Minimum of two (2) years of customer service or retail experience Two years of experience in a financial institution or retail/service related position Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including effective listening, speaking, and writing Talent for presenting and explaining complex products and services Intermediate or greater proficiency with Microsoft applications; ability to master WSECU computer operating systems Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality Must be willing to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and maintain and renew the registration annually Hold or willing to obtain notary license Personal car travel, reliable transportation Bonus points if you have: Credit Union experience and understanding of financial regulations Sales and customer service training Experience with lending, new accounts, or a combination of both Competitive pay: $27.04 - $40.55 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package The target starting pay for this position is $27.04 - $33.79 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account. The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position. Where we're located: Northern Region (primarily in Snohomish, King and Pierce counties) traveling to various branches throughout Snohomish, King and Piercecounties with the occasional possibility of statewide travel with short notice. This is an in-branch position.
