Position Overview
The Branch Development division at Edward Jones is focused on hiring, training, and supporting branch teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. As a vital link between our branches and headquarters, you will drive positive results in our core business while gaining crucial insights to shape our operations.
In this role, you will support branch teams in growing their client base and enhancing their leadership skills, bringing innovative thinking to our training, development, recognition, and rewards programs tailored to engage our unique branches.
About the Role:
The Edward Jones Connection (EJC) team serves as a fiduciary, connecting with our smaller clients remotely, working in collaboration with the local Branch Office Team. Financial Advisors in this department partner with the service team to ensure an ideal client experience, maintaining direct communication through phone and technology platforms like Webex. We seek candidates with a strong understanding of the Financial Advisor role or relevant experience in client relations and service.
Our team operates extended hours to best serve our clients from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm CST, with specific schedules based on your location's time zone and departmental needs. Core hours typically run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm locally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Financial Advisor to our smaller clients, including SEP/Simple IRA participants, ensuring a connection with the local branch team.
- Engage clients proactively to strengthen their relationship with our firm.
- Deliver exceptional client service and personalized solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide initial contact and ongoing support to clients.
- Investigate and resolve service issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with Client Service Administrators (CSAs) to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Notify the department of any compliance or supervision concerns.

Hiring Minimum: $61,600
Hiring Maximum: $101,600

Skills and Requirements:
- Current Series 7 and 66 (or a combination of Series 63 and 65) licenses required to apply.
- Insurance license may be required in the future.
- Experience as an Edward Jones Financial Advisor is highly preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is suggested.
- Strong understanding of various securities and the ability to communicate investment information and market conditions clearly.
- Flexibility, reliability, and solid decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Exceptional telephone and customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and apply technical information.
- Bilingual candidates, especially in Spanish, are a plus.
- Candidates who work from home will undergo annual audits of their home office.
- Candidates living near our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO headquarters are expected to work on-site three days a week, with a preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
