Orlin & Cohen, one of the largest providers of musculoskeletal care in the region is seeking a OT - PT Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to work in a multidisciplinary outpatient facility that promotes collaboration, clinical excellence and an outstanding patient/customer experience. In this setting you will work closely with team members and physicians to treat and manage a wide variety conditions including but not limited to: peripheral nerve injuries, crush injuries, repetitive motion disorders, fractures and tendon injuries. Occupational Therapist - PT - CHT Candidate Attributes:
Ability to thoroughly evaluate patients in order to develop effective & efficient care plans
Experience fabricating custom orthotics
Understanding of a wide array of postoperative protocols
Excellent time management skills
Service and team oriented
Excellent patient and physician communication skills
Working knowledge of manual therapy techniques
Commitment to personal development
Contributes to a positive and caring workplace culture
Displays empathy to all patients
4+ year of experience preferred but not required
Experience and proficiency in using an electronic medical record (EMR)

Occupational Therapist - PT - CHT Responsibilities Include:
Administration of direct patient care.
Designs and implements personalized and evidence-based intervention programs to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Submits required documentation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the department.
Participates in quality improvement chart reviews and activities.
Performs related duties, as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
Current license as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in New York State.
