TransCore is seeking an experienced and innovative Electrical Engineer II to join in the development of our Smart Mobility Product Initiative with the intent to rethink how users move, providing innovative, user-friendly solutions to their day-to-day lives reaching millions of users across the globe. This "zero to one" role is pivotal in building an entirely new product from scratch. You’ll directly contribute to the product execution, developing a high-quality, data-informed user experience, while balancing the needs of our customers while driving end-user growth, engagement, and retention goals.

The Electrical Engineer II will design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and systems. Perform routine logic design tasks associated with the development of new products or sustaining of existing products.
Work Arrangement - Hybrid, with a blend of in-office and remote work. Relocation assistance available. Occasional travel will be required for business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Implement digital circuit designs of simple to moderate complexity involving microelectronics and analog devices.
- Utilize computer aided design (CAD) software as an integral part of the design and development process.
- Perform functional tests on relevant electronic assemblies and documents results.
- Assist in troubleshooting problems.
- Research component specifications for use in designs.
- Prepare supporting documentation.
- Provide estimates of task duration.
- Perform other duties as directed by TransCore management.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from four-year college or university.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting, debugging/testing, software Integration and hardware Interfacing.
- Good knowledge of electronic circuits/schematics and hardware design.
- Proficient in using electrical bench test equipment and instruments to diagnose, troubleshoot, and verify the performance of electrical components and systems.
- Experience in writing technical documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office Software.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. Requires frequent use of keyboard and mouse. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
