Deliver patient care using the nursing process of assessment planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Round with physicians, implement and follow up on orders. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care. Assist before and during dialysis procedures, following physician orders. Oversee dialysis technicians as they perform daily duties. Other duties as needed.

Helps establish a plan of care for each patient and provides consistent effective dialysis according to plan. Provides follow-up of medical orders for each patient, provides knowledge and assistance in adjusting each dialysis to each patients particular physiologic imbalances.

  • Instructs patient in self-care to prevent complications between dialysis treatments
  • Collaborate and cooperate with other dialysis RN's and other team members
Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current state Registered Nurse Licensure within the state of Utah.
  • Six months of experience in a chronic dialysis facility is preferred.
  • Current BLS.
