Description

Responsible for communicating, organizing, collecting and analyzing data for State and Federal Reporting, as mandated by law and in accordance with applicable grant regulations. In addition, maintains accurate data, manages Student Information Systems, and coordinates options with the Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS).

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinates data entry/data maintenance, process development, documentation, and data correction for federal and state reporting
2. Ensures accuracy of information presented in the school's Student Information System, students registration, and PIMS reporting through continuous communication with key school personnel
3. Analyzes data and communicates trends, either verbally or in writing, for federal and state reports, grant funding opportunities, and to school board members and key personnel
4. Identifies grant opportunities, prepares and submits grant applications according to designated timelines
5. Submits accurate reports to federal and state entities, and grant funding organizations as required
6. Work with Student Information System vendors in handling changes to PIMS reporting requirements
7. Maintains current knowledge of PIMS and other reporting requirements by reviewing and interpreting PIMS manuals and grant guidelines
8. Serves as the point of contact for PIMS and federal grant (Title fund) reporting and related issues
9. Directs and coordinates implementation of the Title I program, providing assistance with School Improvement Plan and associated budget preparation
10. Collaborates with the Chief Executive Officer, Business Manager, and Special Populations Coordinators to execute effective implementation of appropriate Title fund programming (e.g., Title I, Title II, and Title IV)
11. Supports federal ESSER/ARP reporting, as appropriate, in conjunction with the Business Office
12. Provides other data reports to the Board of Trustees, Chief Executive Officer and school administration, as requested
13. Performs other job duties as assigned

Requirements

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION WORK RELATED EXPERIENCES:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, education, English, public affairs or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
2. Experience with analyzing data, online applications, and importing/exporting to build reports and data tables.
3. Experience with PIMS, Child Accounting, and State/Federal reporting is preferred.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
1. Possesses strong analytical, verbal and writing skills.
2. Experience in presenting information to diverse audiences.
