Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-Building Wireless Systems Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing state-of-the-art in-building wireless systems that extend public safety and cell phone communications to buildings, tunnels, and other structures. This role is crucial for law enforcement and security applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design In-Building Wireless Systems: Develop systems capable of extending public safety and cell phone communications to various structures.
  • Project Execution: Lead the design of advanced in-building wireless systems for buildings, tunnels, and other structures.
  • System Integration: Oversee the provisioning, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems).
  • Technical Leadership: Stay updated on newer technologies and equipment to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in the design and implementation of wireless communications systems.
  • DAS Expertise: Proficiency in in-building DAS design for neutral host wireless cellular systems and public safety systems.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in DAS provisioning, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Installation Knowledge: Hands-on experience in the installation of fiber optic and coaxial cables.
  • Frequency Bands: Experience working with systems operating in the 800MHz, 400MHz, and cell phone bands.
  • Technical Writing: Excellent technical writing skills.
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle: Must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle to travel throughout the NYC/NJ area

  • Participation in Similar Projects: Demonstrated participation in similar projects is essential.
