Description

Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add an Electrician to its team. This role will work in York, PA and works Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm. This is a contract to hire role that pays $29.50 per hour. Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation,an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to all applicable codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical wiring and circuitry problems.
  • Install and repair electrical equipment, following electrical codes and manufacturer instructions.
  • Utilize electrical test equipment and measuring devices for testing electrical equipment.
  • Install Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems and perform device validation and system commissioning.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations and summon additional assistance if needed.
  • Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate company vehicle safely and service locations in a timely manner.
  • Provide informal assistance, technical guidance, and training to coworkers.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks within the work unit or project.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of seven years of experience as a licensed electrician.
  • Master Electrician license as dictated by local electrical codes.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must-Have Skills:
  • Proficient in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Experience with operating electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
  • Prior experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
