We are currently seeking a Reliability Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving the reliability of equipment, utilities, critical systems and maintenance processes by applying the principles of Reliability Centered Maintenance. In this role, you will lead reliability-driven actions that require independent and/or collaborative judgment to support capital projects. You will be working in Lexington, MA and will report to the Head of Reliability Engineering.

  • Develop maintenance strategies, plans, SOPs, parts lists, BOMs and frequencies for new and modified equipment
  • Perform reviews, improvements and updates for Maintenance SOPs, Parts Lists, BOMs and CMMS data integrity for existing equipment
  • Conduct data analysis of corrective work orders in CMMS and Quality Event Metrics to identify trends and areas of improvement
  • Implement predictive maintenance across the facility, including new and modified equipment
  • Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) in cGMP, biotechnology environment
  • Lead Reliability Centered Maintenance Improvement (RCM) or other improvement projects in multiple areas
  • Provide support for audits, participate in capital planning for assigned area and interact and support internal Manufacturing, Facilities, Engineering, Validation, Quality, and Reliability.

What you bring to the table:

  • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and/or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is desirable
  • Lab and pharmaceutical process support equipment knowledge, including CIP, SIP, Autoclaves, Glass Washers, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles such as heat transfer, mass transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
