Adjunct Faculty

Ivy Tech Community College invites passionate and dedicated individuals to apply for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Respiratory Therapy. Major Responsibilities:

• Facilitate student learning by delivering engaging classes that adhere to college policies and course objectives.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance instructional delivery.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive course materials, including outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
• Foster meaningful interactions with students to support their learning journey and enhance their experience at Ivy Tech.
• Collaborate professionally with colleagues to contribute to a positive and cooperative workplace culture.
• Maintain safe and well-equipped classrooms and labs, adhering to all emergency and safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Earned baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of academic preparation appropriate to the Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) status.
• Indiana-licensed Respiratory Therapy Practitioner (RTP).
• Four years of direct experience in Respiratory Therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degrees or additional certifications in Respiratory Therapy or related fields.
• Previous teaching experience in higher education settings.
