Wage $40,000 + Commission

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Hiring and onboard all new grooming associates, ensuring their completion of all training requirements and annual safety certifications, evaluating the quality of service.
  • Approve payroll hours and time off
  • Handle all employee feedback and set quarterly meetings with staff
  • Maintain equipment and order all new supplies
  • Ensure safety and well-being of every pet and groomer, taking immediate action whenever necessary and follow up with pet owners.
  • Complete superior grooms (e.g. bathing, brushing, blow drying, de-matting, cutting or trimming hair/fur, gland expression, teeth brushing, nail clipping and grinding, and other specialty services)
  • Provide a thorough hands-on pet check-in and check-out process for each pe and pet parent.
  • Positively interact with pet parents in-person, via phone/mobile app providing them with proactive communication and exceptional services
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets.
  • Create loyal long-term relationships with pet owners.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with working with a wide variety of animals
  • Must be able to work around pet hair and dander
  • Ability to lift, bend, and reach to perform the duties of your job
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ Years of experience in pet grooming
  • 3+ Experience in customer service
  • Dog Grooming: 3+ year (Preferred)
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Grooming tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Passion for dog grooming and the well-being of pets.
  • Knowledgeable in breed standard grooms.
  • Skills in scissoring, general cleaning, nail trimming, styling, and all other pet grooming functions.
  • Willingness to be educated about the products and services offered.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require evening and weekend shifts.
  • Exceptional active-listening and customer service skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Grooming certification preferred
