EDGE Sports Global LLC, in partnership with ASM Global LLC, is the fastest growing sports facility development and operations company in New England with a portfolio of eleven facilities, over a half dozen programs, tournaments, events and services across ice hockey, swimming, and field sports such as soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey. In calendar year 2023, it is anticipated that EDGE will have hosted over 1,500,000 youth athletes and their families at our New England facilities.

Bridgewater Ice Arena, Bridgewater MA Mark Bavis Sports Complex, Rockland MA Worcester Ice Center, Worcester MA

Dennis M Lynch Arena, Pawtucket RI Rhode Island Sports Center, Woonsocket RI

along with youth and junior hockey programs including:

Due to exceptional growth, we are looking for immediate hires for key positions to join our fast-paced dynamic team out of our Wellesley MA office. The ideal candidate will be:

staff Accountant

  • Support month-end and year-end accounting close.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and input journal entries and make appropriate accruals.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts; cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and year to date profit and loss statements, with comparison of actual vs. budget.
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheets schedules and profit and loss reports to meet monthly reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of Accounts Receivable (Delinquency / Aging Reports).
  • Assist in the preparation of Accounts Payable (Aging Reports).
  • Maintain fixed asset schedule.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation for external auditors.

REQUIRED

  • BS in Accountancy a must.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to confidently communicate.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks a plus.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
