About this opportunity
B1 Operations is currently looking to add a B1 Load planner to their team The B1 load planner role is an opportunity to display your operational experience. Day to day, you will work closely with Driver Manager and Account Managers across the Mexico organization. B1 Load planning is a key role in the operational growth of PAM MX. As a B1 load planner you will be responsible for managing an area that produces 1,000-1,050 loads per week.
Pay and Schedule
This position is Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The pay range is $46,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.

- Communicate with CSR team to effectively coordinate local movements and minimize trailer dwellings.
- 1-on-1 review for driver performance & growth.
- Build rapport and trust with the local fleet to minimize turnover.
- New uniform & equipment needs must be reviewed.
- Communication with the local shop for daily truck updates.
- Physically review BOLs to ensure full optimization of local movements.
- Scan PODs as per CSR requests.
- Holiday/PTO Planning to ensure daily local capacity.
- Laredo contact for local brokers.
- Local empty trailer recoveries for continued MX growth.
- Effectively communicating with Driver Managers and Account Managers
- Communicate clearly in terms that are understandable.
- Communicate daily goals and capacity availability.
- Positively impacting on time service to customers
- Manage production in miles and revenue growth for your area.
- Manage equipment utilization of 600 trucks and 1,500 trailers tied in with teamwork with all operational staff.
- Driving Safety within our B1 fleet.
- Weekly analysis of your managed area and presenting to management
- Manage Deadhead.
- Cross Border management (Nuevo Laredo/Laredo & Juarez/El Paso)
- Mx Truck Utilization (Import/Export management)
- Nuevo Laredo Yard Management
- Laredo Yard Management
- OTR Border Management
- Capacity Forecasting (US & MX)
- Experience in strategic planning and business analytics.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish.
- Problem solving
- Proficient Microsoft Suite.
- AS400 experience.
- Comfortable working in high paced environment & maintain composure.
