Appropriate NJ license & NJDOE certification required

Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for school based speech/language services per N.J.A.C. 6A:14 eligibility criteria.

Provide individual & group speech therapy

Experience with AAC devices preferred.

Ability to collaboratively interact with students, parents and colleagues

Participates as a Child Study Team member when students with communication disorders are referred to the CST.

Provides progress reports in alignment with report card timelines.

Completes Individualized Education programs (IEP) for students identified as eligible for Speech only and/or eligible for Special Education and/or Related Services.

Monitors student progress as it relates to mastery of IEP Speech/Language and oral motor goals.
