Primary Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Packages powder and maintains the associated paperwork without being supervised.
Essential Functions:
- Operate, monitor and maintain equipment and paperwork for packaging powders without being supervised.
- Upon completion of packing powder obtain a peer to perform count-out, and have count-out verified by peer.
- Bin locate material packages.
- Pack to order and complete packing detail to match.
- Assist in the order processing when needed.
- Receive incoming materials and outgoing orders as well as learn basics of hazardous and non- hazardous outgoing shipments.
- Must ensure proper use of Forklifts, scales, vacuums, hand tools, vibrators, wheel dolly, hand pallet jack, hoist, drum dolly, calculator, packaging machine, glue gun and banding machine.
- Complete other work duties as assigned.
- Will Cross Train in other positions/departments as assigned.
- Required and must perform various types of duties assigned by the department foreperson/leadperson.
- Maintain machines, equipment and work area for cleanliness and efficient operation. Must assist with minor maintenance such as painting, oiling, cleaning, and adjustments.
