13 weeks - 12 hour Day/Night Rotate; 12 hr rotating shifts, weekends as scheduled - 36GH - BLS, CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) Notes. What are the typical patients a traveler will see
on this unit (ie inpatient, outpatient, partial,
substance abuse)?
What are the ages of patients on the unit?
18 year olds and above
How big is your facility (# of beds)?
How many beds on the unit? 24
Is there an intensive area? If so, how many
beds?
We can make a high acuity unit if needed. It
has 6 beds.
What shift(s)?
What hours? 8/10/12
What is the nurse to patient ratio?
Will the traveler be floating? To which units? First
or in rotation with perm staff?
What certifications does this position require
(Typically BLS, CPI, MAB)?
What Med System do you use?
Psychiatric (ADULT OR PEDS)-Questions to ask for job need
We are an inpatient behavioral health unit. We have 24 beds. We have a varietiy of patients to
include depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, psychosis, and
substance abuse.
BLS, CPI or like
Epic
Royal blue scrubs

Licenses/Certifications: CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support), State License-RN-West Virginia
Physical Abilities: From 50-100lbs
