We are currently seeking a full-time Programmer Analyst in our IT department at our corporate headquarters in Davenport, IA. As a Programmer Analyst you will design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of business requirements. You will also create custom reports, SQL queries, stored procedures, and modify existing applications to enhance productivity. Strong candidates will have excellent communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team environment.

Programmer Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the definition, creation and documentation of software solutions to meet business requirements in collaboration with internal users and departments.
- Work with end users and the IT team to provide support for existing software applications. Bug fixing, workflow analysis, testing and other development tasks.
- Create and maintain business reports utilizing SSRS, Crystal Reports and other BI tools.
- Use standard web development practices to create website layout and user interfaces.
- Analyze existing SQL/T-SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies/industry trends.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years programming application experience.
- Excellent understanding of web coding methods and development best practices.
- Experience with HTML, Java, PHP, C#, SQL, Crystal Reports and SSRS.
- Ability to communicate with non-technical staff and experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
