Job Summary: The QC Receiving Inspector position assists the QC Lead or WH Supervisor through proper inspection of incoming materials per company and industry standards. In addition, the QC Receiving Inspector must ensure proper training, development and ongoing oversight of receiving procedures.

It requires that one be a self-starter, able to work as part of a team and willing to assist with all day-to-day operations inherent to a rapidly growing organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with ASA 100 Requirements
  • Review and inspect incoming material
  • Accurate data entry into AvSight
  • Handle and ensures that applicable paperwork moves with material
  • Review all necessary paperwork based on Condition
  • Corrects or requests removal tags (AR material)
  • Quarantine non-conforming material and notify appropriate personnel
  • Direct/Assist personnel for stocking of incoming material
  • Assist all incoming QC and WH Stock personnel
  • Maintain high energy, cooperative and positive attitude, and great sense of humor
  • Other tasks and projects as directed by management
Required Experience:
  • At least two years' experience in a related field
  • Prior aviation industry experience a plus
  • Strong communication, consultation, and relationship management skills
  • Detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Physical Requirements:
  • Pick up, carry, move, reach, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Reaching, Pushing and Pulling up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Buddy system required for lifting/caring/pulling/pushing/moving over 50 pounds
  • Work while bending over for extended lengths of time
  • Ascend and descend up to two flights of stairs
  • Able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
  • Standing for 98% of the shift
Safety Equipment required:
  • Must wear steel toed shoes
  • Safely operate cutting tools/blades to open boxes
