This position will serve as a partner to the New Business Supervisors for UA and Military/ESD and LNL. The Team Lead will cross train into all of the specialist’s roles in order to audit, quality control, variation of tasks including providing assistance with policy conversions, policy reissues, accounting, Daily reports, Annuities, and updating training manuals for each specialist. This person will provide refresher trainings, and offer insights on how responsibilities can be rerouted, or processes retooled in order to increase efficiency. The Team Lead will also serve as the backup Supervisor during absences, and fill in as needed on the team to ensure production guidelines are met. This position will track trends (if any) and notify management.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assigning Underwriters on the UNDR Screens
  • Knowledgeable in all Specialist I Job Duties
  • Some Knowledge in Specialist II job duties
  • Back up for UA NB Supervisor Reports
  • Auditing Reissues and redrafts
  • Complete Supply inventory monthly
  • Help Organize and execute morale objectives
  • Testing for Military and UA NB
  • Special Projects master
  • CWA Report
  • Auditing pending Conversions and Annuities
  • Other duties as required
  • Processing Unpaid EFT in a timely manner once report is received
  • Communication with field sales team regarding Unpaid EFT via LNL EFT email box
  • Assist with and manage Journal Entries Reporting using required Mobius Reports
  • Key paper applications
  • Issue pending policies per the guidelines established by underwriting
  • Issue policies into COD status that have been amended according to underwriting guidelines Batch Error Report: clears errors related to policy application submissions, maintain constant communication with agency offices as needed to gather additional information or missing information.
  • BPM/OIPA errors: Real submissions processed and errors cleared as necessary throughout the day, constant monitoring of system to ensure there is no backlog of policies to process.

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years in a job requiring similar skill sets.
  • Must have the desire to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities
  • 2+ years experience in a position with deadline oriented tasks
  • Training experience
