Acadian Ambulance has an immediate opening for a full-time HR Assistant in our Human Resources Department. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support on day to day activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the HR team members to support the department with various miscellaneous projects
  • Process, verify and assist with day-to-day data entry and documentation relating to personnel activities
  • Address and respond to general HR inquiry calls and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Assist with maintaining personnel files for all employees in accordance with established procedures
  • Create employee ID badges for incoming new hires and replacement badges for existing employees
  • All other additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned
Job Qualifications:
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Human Resources experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with emphasis on confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively, in verbal and written forms, with employees, customers, or the general public
  • Ability to prioritize with excellent organizational skills
  • Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel and Google Suite, including Sheets and Docs
