Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a talented and experienced Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our team. Based in Palmdale, California, you will act as a subject matter expert, contributing to the development of test plans, schedules and procedures, and support integration testing.

  • Provide test execution support and make real-time, mission-critical decisions that ensure safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of the test article
  • Optimize test program performance to achieve objectives during post-test data evaluation and discrepancy resolution
  • Author detailed test plans and system checkout procedures
  • Serve as an SME on payload systems, ensuring technical adequacy during planning and execution
  • Coordinate with other IPTs to identify and allocate test resources while mitigating risk/issues for seamless test flow
  • Provide mission control room support while making real-time decisions on system safety and performance
  • Support and host test planning working groups
