Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager who can immediately step into a role to serve their municipal and DOT clients with their transportation projects and lead a team of engineers in their brand-new office HQ Lawrence, MA. This hire will have an opportunity to play a critical role in project delivery through effective client interfacing and team leadership.

Responsibilities

ꞏ Manage a team of engineers in the delivery of transportation projects

ꞏ Effectively interact with staff, clients, and stakeholders to deliver project solutions

ꞏ Mentor engineering staff in all phases of design development

ꞏ QA/QC of project elements to include technical reporting, plans, specifications, and estimates

ꞏ Management tasks of transportation projects including schedules, budgets, contracts, invoicing, etc.

ꞏ Facilitation of client meetings and public presentations

ꞏ Proven ability to lead and mentor a team

ꞏ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

ꞏ Through responsible autonomy, manage individual tasks and assignments

ꞏ Self-starter and motivator with attention to detail

Qualifications

ꞏ BS in civil engineering or related field

ꞏ Licensed PE required

ꞏ 7+ years of transportation/highway design experience

ꞏ Familiarity with AASHTO and MassDOT design manuals, standards, and procedures

ꞏ Management of transportation projects for municipalities and DOT

ꞏ Client interaction and team management
