Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments in a timely manner, balancing provider schedules efficiently.
  • Gather relevant patient information and ensure completeness of medical records prior to appointments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details, confirmations, and any changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and scheduling changes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow.
  • Address patient inquiries and resolve scheduling issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support administrative tasks as needed to improve office operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in medical scheduling or a healthcare administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interactions and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and scheduling software; experience with EMR systems is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
