As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to achieve the following: Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from communication, exercise and nutrition and academic skills to assist with school readiness Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as: hygiene, grooming and/or toileting Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors Qualifications for a Behavioral Health Technician: Must be minimum of 18 years of age A compassionate approach with a reliable and responsible attitude An ability to connect with children with an ability to work with others to accomplish goals Experience in human services preferred but not mandatory Successful clearance of background checks We have meaningful work for you – come join our team – Apply today as a Behavioral Health Technician If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families, we encourage you to join Northway Academy’s mission of helping everyone live a full and happy life.
