The BDC (Business Development Center) is an integral and ever-developing piece of the Findlay Honda community. This department is the heart of the dealership. We are the first stop for any guest inquiring with Findlay Honda and we have a direct impact on their first impression as well as every aspect of their initial experiences. We control the flow of sales, service, and general guest services and we keep our clients happy, engaged, and informed, at all times.

The Job

As an agent of the BDC you will be responsible for an array of tasks ranging from appointment setting and upselling service to conflict resolution and troubleshooting. You will complete a daily blend of outgoing phone calls, emails, and text messages matched with incoming inquires that you will organize and track from opening to closing. Your income will be set but there will be unlimited earning potential rewarded for high productivity. Your key focus is to drive business to Findlay Honda in a clear and inviting manner. You will not sell the experience; you will invite the guest to be a part of it

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with internet business development lead management
  • Expect to utilize CRM daily and log incoming traffic
  • Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management
  • Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection – be the product expert & sounding board
  • Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet

Qualifications:

  • A glorified self-starter.
  • Flexible, comfortable with change, and open to new ideas.
  • Someone who is conscious of personal goals and always striving to improve themselves.
  • Interested in people’s stories and empathetic to them.
  • Organized, creative, and confident in their abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, E-Mail and Text.
  • Fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not a necessity.
