Responsibilities:

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will work under direct supervision to assist providers in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform diverse medical tasks, including blood draws, administering medications, and applying splints under provider guidance.
  • Triage patients, measure vital signs, and maintain accurate documentation on patients' charts.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on lab results and communicate changes in patient conditions to the on-duty provider.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, escort patients promptly, and communicate effectively about wait times.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies, uphold quality assurance standards, and comply with Federal and State Regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with licenses and engage in continuing education.
  • Contribute to improving clinic performance and enhancing the patient experience.
  • Cross-train for front desk operations, including scheduling, phone answering, and insurance verification.
  • Perform additional assigned duties to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
Essential Skills, Education, and Experience:

Education:
  • Graduate of one of the following programs is preferred:
  • Medical Assistant
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-I or EMT-B state license required) with phlebotomy certificate
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA state license required) with phlebotomy certificate
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-A)
  • Paramedic

Shifts: (3) Rotating 12 hour shifts, 8am-8pm, Flexible to fill in 2 office locations if needed
