We’re excited to welcome a Charity Fundraising Assistant to our team Working closely with the Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications teams, you’ll play a key role in supporting our mission to help charitable organizations increase program awareness and make an impact in the community. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is passionate about giving back and eager to contribute to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary Contact: Serve as the first point of contact for all internal and external fundraising inquiries.
  • Customer Care: Deliver high-quality service by acknowledging and thanking new or departing donors, ensuring they feel valued.
  • Donor Communications: Collaborate with management and the communications team to craft and send clear, engaging donor messages.
  • Event Support: Assist in planning, organizing, and providing on-the-day support for various fundraising and promotional events.
  • Database Maintenance: Oversee the donor database, providing training and guidance to colleagues (training will be provided) to ensure accurate and efficient data entry.
  • Data Management: Handle data entry, updates, report generation, and query creation as required.
  • Prioritization: Support the fundraising team to ensure tasks are properly prioritized and completed on schedule.
  • Sector Awareness: Stay updated on fundraising initiatives and news across sectors.
  • Creative Input: Bring new ideas and a sense of ownership to the role, continuously enhancing our fundraising efforts.
