Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

A travel healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have at least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting. Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
The RN will perform diagnostic cardiac procedures, administer interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and implant pacemakers and defibrillators. The RN must accurately gather visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart and collaborate with physicians during procedures. Monitoring of the patient's status during and after these procedures is necessary. This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week with a day shift schedule.
