We are looking to fill three positions:

  • Overnight, 9:00pm - 5:30am
  • Housekeeper, male, 10:00am - 6:00pm or 11:00am - 7:00pm
The Role

At MAC, our housekeeping team is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our members expect and deserve. Beyond the physical upkeep of our facility, our Housekeepers contribute to a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere for both staff and members.

What You'll Do
  • Restroom Maintenance: Clean and disinfect various surfaces including toilets, partitions, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
  • Supply Management: Check and restock essential supplies like soap, tissues, toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, cologne, and combs.
  • General Cleaning: Clean and dust offices, reading lounge, and other areas; polish furniture; empty trash and recycling containers.
  • Laundry Handling: Deliver fresh towels, collect used towels, and transport them to the laundry holding area.
  • Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and dust or damp mop floors.
  • Detail Cleaning: Spot wash walls in sport court spaces to remove marks and scuffs.
  • Chemical Handling: Use cleaning fluids, chemicals, and agents safely with personal protective equipment.
Locker Room Attendants:
  • Ensure locker rooms and restrooms are clean and neat including, but not limited to, picking up towels, trash, lost and found, squeegeeing water from the floor, vacuuming carpet areas, cleaning locker tops, dusting & polishing, and maintaining beauty bars.
  • Maintain knowledge of club rules and is able to inform and enforce with tact & diplomacy.
  • Monitor locker rooms for behavioral, safety and security issues, reporting and following up as needed.
  • Communicate clearly on radio with supervisor and other departments as necessary.
  • Manage coffee/tea service during posted hours.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and consumables, ordering and restocking as needed, following the proper ordering procedures. Ensure supply closet is stocked, cleaned, and organized.
  • Comply with all club safety policies and procedures, identify and report unsafe work hazardous work conditions, and report all workplace injuries and illness to supervisor.
  • Put equipment and supply away at the end of each shift.
  • Answer and respond to pages for special assistance including, but not limited to, cleaning spills or assisting with locker access.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience: Basic janitorial skills and familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment are preferred.
  • Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and members.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb.; frequently bend, squat, climb, twist, crawl; reach above shoulders and grasp or squeeze objects; stand and walk throughout the entire shift; work safely with chemicals.
