As a machine learning engineer, you'll train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data. Your ability to conduct statistical analyses on business processes using ML techniques is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused solution. In this role, you'll own and define the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and technologies. You'll be part of a large community of ML engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver world class solutions to deliver mentorship, training, and solutions to real world problems, process data and information at a massive scale, and perform A/B testing tasks on statistical models, ML algorithms, and systems.Your advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise will guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks. You Have:
5+ years of experience with data science, ML engineering, software engineering, or postdoctoral research for ML
Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, transformers, or large language models (LLM)
Experience with ML, including linear, reinforcement learning, tree based, neural networks, or deep learning-based methods and regularization approaches for each
Experience with deploying ML models or neural networks into a production environment
Experience with programming in Python, Java, or C++
Experience with databases, including SQL or PostgreSQL
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Nice If You Have:
Experience with developing software architectures with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with RAG framework
Experience with software development, including API development or database management, and model deployment and usage with JavaScript frameworks, including React, Angular, or Node.js
Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP
Ability to work in a Linux environment with bash scripting
Master's degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
