Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, and identifying and resolving maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond and attend to guest repair requests with little to no supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify potential issues.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
