We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Bank Tech team. If you have a passion for data and emerging technologies, and enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. As a Software Engineer at Capital One, you will be at the forefront of driving transformation within the company.

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions
  • Stay updated on tech trends and share knowledge within the engineering community
  • Work with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that empower millions of customers
  • Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as AWS tools and services

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
