Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Acute Care

Job Specialty: Occupational Therapy in Acute Care

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour, Tuesday - Saturday, 08:00 - 17:30

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience required

License: Valid State License required at time of application

Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification required

Must-Have:
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Completion of non-billable modules during orientation

Job Description:
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs
- Assist patients in building or restoring vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills
- Promote general independence in persons with disabilities or developmental delays
- Participate in module training to enhance specialty skills
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations

Additional Notes:
- Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- Modules are part of the orientation process and are recorded through e-learning
- Background checks must be noted prior to applying; disclose any relevant information
