The Role

  • The Software Developer position requires the ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications. The candidate must be passionate about programming, passionate about quality, and enjoy communicating and working with end-users. The ability to work in a team environment is critical. Ability to provide support for both the legacy systems and new system being brought on line. The ideal candidate will have a background in C# development, building and leveraging Azure services and has designed modern data warehouse solutions.
Role Overview:
  • Support a team in maintaining and enhancing applications.
  • Tracking highly technical data on a regular basis and working closely with team members to retain the information for analytical/troubleshooting efforts.
  • Communicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goals
  • Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize the performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities of the system
  • Work with development teams using agile software development methodologies
  • Maintain appropriate technical training to ensure skills are kept current with evolving technology
  • Performs other duties as assigned at the direction of Project Management
Required Skills
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience specific to the skills identified in a position's Qualification Summary, plus the Education qualification.
  • Bachelor's degree related to the specific skill from an accredited college or university, preferred. Relevant work experience related to the labor category may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in either C# or VB.Net or .NET software development.
  • Experience developing Windows Desktop applications
Desired Skills (Optional)
  • Experience with Relational SQL databases and/or ArcGIS
  • Demonstrated understanding of internet protocols and networking technologies including MPLS and Ethernet VLAN.
